Hi John, this is Kate, Roy’s finance director.

I just checked the numbers on our end-of-month fundraising goal and wanted to give you an update — here’s the memo I just sent to Roy:

We’ll need to raise about $1,868 per day to hit this month’s target before the deadline, so I’m reaching out again to our strongest supporters to ask if you’d be able to donate any amount to close our fundraising gap.

I know Roy has already asked for your support, and I’m sorry to bother you yet again, but as the finance director, it’s my responsibility to keep our fundraising on track and ensure we have the resources necessary to support North Carolina Democrats in the lead up to November.

I never want to let Roy — or our Democratic candidates — down by falling short.
