My work slowed down a lot during the pandemic and hasn’t picked back up to where it was, so I’m supplementing with DoorDash. The pandemic has been challenging for me, with periods of housing instability — it’s been hard for so many people.

I’ve met a senior who skips prescriptions so she can afford rent, a person in a wheelchair living in an encampment because she can’t afford to rent a place with a wheelchair ramp, a young family doubling up with extra roommates because they can’t afford a mortgage.
