Hi team, Morgan McGarvey here. I want to take a moment to explain why I’m running for Congress. I’ve been working hard for Kentucky’s families for years, and now I’m ready to make the bold, progressive changes we need to see in Congress. This campaign’s next public fundraising deadline is coming up fast, and it would mean the world to me if you would chip in anything you can. >> [[link removed]]

I’ve been in a Senate with a Republican supermajority every single day that I’ve held office. Getting things done is never easy. It takes putting in the work, figuring it out and still finding solutions. There are too many pressing needs in Kentucky not to just keep pushing for progress. By bringing people together and elevating community voices, I wrote and passed laws that have helped families all over the Commonwealth.

I’ve fought for universal pre-K, passed a law to help survivors of domestic violence, and worked to reform our criminal justice system so that it’s more fair for everyone.

Now I’m running for Congress to continue to deliver for the people of Louisville.

But folks, this won’t be easy. I’m running to keep Kentucky’s only blue district out of the GOP’s grasp, and I need all the support I can get. Our next major fundraising deadline is in just a few days. I’m setting an ambitious end-of-quarter goal of $30,000 to show just how strong our movement is.

I’m proud of what I’ve done for this community. And I’m grateful to have the support of this team.

Thank you,

Morgan McGarvey
