Another challenger just announced he’s running against Cori Bush to take her seat in Congress.
The GOP and far-right groups have already made it clear that they’re terrified of Cori’s bold, progressive agenda and they’re prepared to spend record amounts of money to attack Cori during the midterm elections. Now, we also have to compete against a new conservative Democratic challenger and get ready for a heated primary election.

We can’t emphasize enough how serious this announcement is.
In 2020, Cori’s sisters in the Squad, Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib, all faced primary challengers backed by Republican donors, dark money, and corporate PAC dollars. They spent millions in an attempt to weaken our progressive coalition and we know that they’re going to come out even harder in 2022 to fight for a Republican majority in Congress.
Cori has been an unapologetic advocate for our progressive values and has made it clear she’s not backing down in the fight to pass Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and anti-racist legislation. There’s no doubt that this stance will make Cori a top target of GOP dark money this year.
