More than 25 years ago, I met a young Brad Pfaff -- salt of the earth, honest, earnest, smart and hard working. Growing up on a farm, Brad wore the values of grit, respect for nature and hard work, and sense of community on his sleeve and he lived those values too.

His relatability and authenticity were real assets to my office, and his knowledge set a gold standard for the kind of assistance we were able to provide to rural communities all over Wisconsin.

Today, that is still exactly who Brad is -- which explains how that first job with my office turned into a career in public service -- and exactly why we need him in Congress.

But Brad faces a tough campaign. His opponent is a Capitol Insurrectionist, and I’d hate to see him fill one of Wisconsin’s Congressional seats.

If we’re going to elect him, he needs all of us standing with him now before his public end-of-quarter deadline. And he just told me that right now he’s still $7,500 short of his goal.

The past four years almost broke our country but thankfully, the last presidential election helped us avoid total disaster. The country still has much work and healing to do. We need people in Congress who can help restore those same values Brad showed me the day I first met him and has continued to put back into public service throughout his career.

Most of you probably know that I don’t like asking for money. But I know how important this election is going to be for our state -- and country. We have to hold onto this seat and we need good people like Brad Pfaff in it. That’s why I am proud to give him my full support, but he needs all of our help to get the job done.

Let’s send Brad to Washington for a better 3rd district, a better Wisconsin and hopefully, to maintain the House majority too.
