Earlier this year, a group of supporters launched a $100,000 matching goal to hit by March 31. This moment is a critical opportunity to show that Ranked Choice Voting has a groundswell of grassroots support working to strengthen our democracy.
We have momentum building in the legislature and more and more 2022
candidates signing on to pass Ranked Choice Voting statewide. In fact, just last week a new bill was introduced that would finance the RCV statewide bill! This is huge news for FairVote Minnesota and our democracy, and would provide funding for election administrators to implement RCV.
We can't afford to fall short on our fundraising goals — there's too much at stake.
This $100,000 match is our first big opportunity this year to show the momentum is with us to pass RCV statewide.
