In a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a grassroots donation to my campaign for Congress in Montana’s brand new district that stretches from Yellowstone to the Canadian border. But first, I want to tell you why your support is so important at this critical time.
I announced my campaign with a simple goal: Help bring back a Montana where we make our own lives. There was a time when working hard meant you got a roof over your head, food on the table, and an education for yourself and your family.
Millionaires and billionaires from out-of-state have been taking that away from us for years — and their number one enabler is our Republican opponent, Ryan Zinke.
But before we face off against Ryan Zinke this November, I need to win our Democratic primary in just over two months. Whenever I travel across Western Montana and primary voters hear our positive message, they get so excited to join our campaign.
In short, momentum is growing for our campaign — but we have to keep it up. That’s why I’m personally asking you to make a $5 donation to help us reach our $10,000 FEC deadline goal. Can you chip in right away?
It’s been truly an honor and humbling privilege to see voters commit to our campaign every day. Just recently, I was in Butte meeting voters at the St. Patrick’s Day parade, and folks were so excited to hear why we’re running. Or when I met voters up in the Flathead — one gracious supporter even offered to let us stay in their home (there aren’t many hotels up there!). And of course, when I’m not traveling the district, I’m out and about in my home community of Missoula, volunteering and talking to voters, too!
When voters commit to our campaign, they often tell us that they are planning on voting for us because they believe our positive campaign is the ONLY one that can defeat Ryan Zinke in the general election.
While I admit it’s flattering to hear, I know that I have what it takes to expose Ryan Zinke for his unrelenting corruption *and* still address the issues that Montana voters care about most.
