[1]Pramila Jayapal

A lot has happened in the first three months of the year. Throughout it
all, I’ve continued my fight on behalf of working families, our
communities, and our planet.

I championed the policies that President Biden spoke about in his State of
the Union address like cutting the cost of prescription drugs, lowering
the cost of childcare for middle class families, enforcing antitrust laws
so corporate monopolies aren’t taking advantage of the people, and making
the wealthiest pay their fair share of taxes.

That’s why I also called on President Biden to take a series of critical
executive actions and use his power to accomplish our shared goals. We
must deliver important wins for working families by canceling student
debt, securing paid sick leave and vacation for millions of workers,
investing in clean energy, clean air, and clean water, and so much more.

[ [link removed] ]In order to keep our fight as strong as ever, my team tells me we need
to hit a $35,000 end-of-quarter goal by 11:59 p.m. on March 31. Can you
chip in $3 or anything at all to help fuel my fight for the
rest of this critical election year?

And those were just some of the highlights.

I continue my advocacy for Medicare for All and every policy that expands
health care coverage and cuts costs for working families. I also led
letters to government agencies urging them to protect Medicare from
private profiteers.

I introduced the Climate Resilience Workforce Act to invest in a skilled
workforce capable of responding to and preparing for the destructive
impacts of climate change. We enacted a law I co-led called the Ending
Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act — to
empower sexual assault survivors to choose how they want to seek justice
for abusive treatment, and allow them to have their day in court.

I’ve led the charge to cut wasteful military spending that only benefits
private defense contractors, and I’ve advocated for an end to private
immigrant detention centers. Protecting voting rights and our democracy
remains front and center in my fight.

Our
fight for bold, progressive change is critical. We face lobbying from the
largest corporations in America and an extreme GOP willing to stop us no
matter what. That’s why I rely on grassroots support, and why I need you
to chip in right now.

[ [link removed] ]Can you chip in $3 today to help us hit our crucial
end-of-quarter goal? Together, we can enact progressive change, fight for
our planet, and cut costs for working people.
