I'll be straightforward, folks: I’m about to ask you to chip in to help us reach our quarterly fundraising goal before our first FEC deadline of the year. DONATE [[link removed]] But before I get ahead of myself, I want to take a minute to explain why this deadline is so important.

At the end of each quarter, federal campaigns like ours are required to submit our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission, or FEC, who will then make our numbers public.

It's especially important to report strong numbers this quarter — Republicans have broken fundraising record after fundraising record, and the media, political pundits, and GOP leaders are looking closely at Democrats' numbers. Why? To see if we have the resources it’ll take to invest in local Democratic leadership and defend our majority in Congress.

Right now, we're laser-focused on supporting local and state races, like Maggie Toulouse Oliver's bid for Secretary of State in New Mexico, and frontline races in critical states like Georgia, New Hampshire, and Arizona.

But if our fundraising numbers look weak, Republicans may invest even more of their war chest into trying to defeat Democrats in November to make way for Republicans’ extreme agenda. And right now, we’re not on track to meet our quarterly goal and show the strength of Democrats’ organizing efforts.

We’ve come too far to fall short now. Will you chip in a grassroots donation to ensure we report strong fundraising numbers to the FEC and power our work to keep Democrats in power at every level of government?

This is our campaign’s first major test of 2022. Thanks for all you can give today to help us deliver strong results.
