John — I’ve got about fifteen spare minutes in my calendar today, and I want to take a moment out of my day today to tell you why winning the Governor’s race is so important.

Without a Democratic Governor — one who will use the veto pen to defend our rights — Republicans in Harrisburg would have free reign to transform Pennsylvania, and not for the better.

Here’s what they’ve tried to do, just in the past few months:

-Pass a constitutional amendment severely limiting abortion access
-Rollback Act 77, a bipartisan law that allows mail-in voting in Pennsylvania
-Conduct a sham “audit” of the 2020 presidential election results — including trying to obtain the driver’s licenses and Social Security numbers of 9 million Pennsylvanians and wasting thousands of taxpayer dollars

So please, John — we need a Democratic Governor who will put a stop to the GOP’s efforts to take away our rights and our freedoms. I will be that Governor for Pennsylvania, but first I need your help to win this race. Can you chip in $5 today to make sure we keep the veto pen? [[link removed]]

Independent analysts have called this a Toss Up race, which means we need to pour all of our efforts into keeping Pennsylvania blue — and that starts with hitting our online fundraising goal before tonight’s reporting deadline.
