Michigan poised to be House battleground all year — Roll Call, 2022

Friend — I need to talk to you. Debbie asked me to reach out because our first Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing deadline of 2022 is approaching at the end of the month.

You probably heard by now that my campaign is officially running as a “Frontline” race — one of only a handful nationwide that will determine control of Congress.

The fact is I have to introduce myself to 150,000+ new voters in a toss-up district, and outside groups have just launched a new series of attack ads to defeat me.

This is the most competitive race I’ve ever run, and I need you with me.

I am proud of my record in Congress: I’ve fought to strengthen domestic supply chains and make things in America, not China. I worked hard to pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to rebuild roads, repair bridges, replace lead pipes and expand high-speed broadband internet.

I led in Congress to ensure clean water for all, including protecting the Great Lakes and removing PFAS chemicals from drinking water. And I support legislation to lower everyday costs for families and seniors, including the costs of health care premiums and prescription drugs.

But National Republicans have added our race to their top target list and are already spending a lot of money to run misleading attack ads against me.
