You may not know this, folks, but I’m the only Democratic Senator in my part of the country. And here in Montana, I’m the only statewide-elected Democrat.

That’s a responsibility I take seriously. It’s an honor to fight for Montanans in Washington — but at the same time, I’m fighting for every single person in a farm town or rural community like mine, especially those who don’t have their own Democratic Senator looking out for them.

That perspective grounds my work in Washington. Here are just a few examples:

  • Folks told me they were getting their mail months late, so I fought hard to get USPS reform legislation onto President Biden’s desk.

  • For years, I’ve heard from folks about the urgent need to fix our crumbling roads and bridges, expand Internet access, and upgrade our airports, so I worked around the clock to get my bipartisan infrastructure bill over the finish line — and now, we’re making those much-needed investments in our communities.

  • And on my farm, I’ve seen firsthand how weather events brought on by climate change — like devastating droughts — have a serious impact, so I’ve pushed for real, meaningful action to take on this existential threat.

These are issues that impact people’s lives every day, and I’m doing everything I can to address them head on. That’s what I’m focused on in the Senate, and I hope you’ll chip in a few dollars to help us keep this work going strong:

No matter who you are or where you live, you deserve leaders who will answer to you, and who will fight as hard as they can to tackle the challenges you’re facing.

I promise to keep up that fight, and I’m grateful for your support.
