Today, Ron DeSantis signed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill into law.

Let’s be clear: This a direct attack on our LGBTQ+ youth, who already face higher risks of bullying and suicide. This bill is anti-history and jeopardizes the safe learning environments that are so essential in our schools.

Last week, I shared my four-part plan to use the power of the Office of Attorney General to resist this hateful law. But I need your help to get there.

I have just one question for Governor Ron DeSantis: How sick do you have to be to make this your focus?

While gas prices skyrocket, we sit on the verge of war, and small businesses are still struggling to come back from COVID-19, our embarrassment of a governor is targeting kids and teachers. 

Let me be clear: 25 years of legal experience tells me this bill is unconstitutional. When I'm Attorney General, this law is going down, and so is DeSantis.
