AS A TOP ADVOCATE FOR GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION, YOU'VE BEEN SELECTED TO RESPOND TO THIS OFFICIAL POLL:
DO YOU SUPPORT THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION'S ACTION AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE, John?
YES [[link removed]]
11:59 P.M. DEADLINE | LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE RECORDED.
Today, the Biden Administration will release details on the policy team who will be in charge of implementing lifesaving gun violence prevention policies. This announcement couldn't come at a more critical time: Gun violence hasn't dominated headlines, but it continues to ravage communities every day. And at this rate, we may see another record breaking year for violence.
Biden is one of the strongest advocates for gun violence prevention we've had in the White House – we know he will choose equally strong advocates to regulate ghost guns, ban weapons of war from our streets, and invest in evidence-based community violence interventions.
But we also know that NRA-backed cronies in Congress, like Mitch McConnell, will fight tooth and nail to prevent lifesaving progress and keep the gun lobby in power. So it's going to take all of us fighting back to keep our work on track.
That's why we need to hear from 21 more people from your area by midnight tonight — but your response is still missing, and we're at risk of having to throw out all our data if we fall short of our response goal. Please tell us before this window closes:
