So I wanted to take a quick moment to tell you why, out of all of your options of who to give to this week, I’d like you to consider giving to Groundwork Project. Pitch in now, or read on to hear why!

In 2022 alone, 240 anti-LGBTQ bills, 525 abortion restrictions, and 250 anti-voting rights bills have been introduced at the state level. And it’s only March.

This is the level of harm done at the state level by GOP lawmakers, and it will not be stopped by simply investing in “competitive states” or “swing states.” For every harmful GOP policy that is introduced at the state level, there are under-resourced organizers fighting against it. It’s time to give them the support they need to win.

That is why Groundwork Project is investing in progressive infrastructure in red states now. Because the voters and organizers in our partner states of Mississippi, Alabama, and West Virginia deserve better. And with the right resources, we can help them elect the leaders they deserve.

Our FEC filing on Thursday at midnight is our most important deadline of 2022 yet. We are getting ready to announce our next partner state soon, and we need to raise $47,321 more in order to stay on track.
