Friend,
I never take a single election for granted. That’s why, even while I’m running for re-election, I always run as if I’m 10% behind instead of 10% ahead.
In order to bring our message of justice and equity directly to all of the voters in our district―and not wait for our opponents or the media to characterize our leadership, we need early resources.
Our campaign team has crunched the numbers and determined that between door-knocks, calls, texts, and mailings, it costs us, on average, $0.54 per voter contact. That means a donation of $54 allows our team to contact 100 voters.
I know that’s a lot to ask, but with our end of quarter deadline quickly approaching this Thursday, can you rush a contribution of $54 (or whatever you can afford!) today to help us contact 100 voters and prepare for the fight ahead?
Every week we see attacks from the powerful special interests who are seeking to defeat me and silence our movement for change. They don’t like that we’re standing up to greedy, polluting corporations that control our policies and our politics, and that we fight back against the billionaire bullies who put profits ahead of our environment, our communities, and working people.
This year, because of redistricting, I’m running in a new, larger district. That means more voters to contact. And that’s why we’re starting early.
While I currently represent two-thirds of the newly drawn 12th congressional district, that leaves a full one-third of residents who aren’t familiar with our record of fighting for working people and marginalized communities.
Pitch in $54 or whatever you can afford before Thursday’s end of quarter deadline to help us reach more voters in our new district.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your secure donation will go through immediately:
Thank you for always having my back and for showing the strength of our grassroots movement for change.
