New for 2019: recently completed cycle path improvements

Active travel whether on a bike or on foot is good for you, and the environment. Major plans are on the horizon for next year but in 2019 weve already started improving some of the gaps in our cycle network to better connect communities and create safer, better routes for cyclists and pedestrians. These projects should help to improve active and sustainable travel routes and better connect key employment sites.

NCT wins big at the UK bus awards
It's official - Nottingham's buses are the best!

Nottingham City Transport has won the coveted title of 'Britain's best bus company' award at the UK Bus Awards for a record breaking 5th time!

You can now charge your car while you shop

An electric car charging at one of the Victoria Centre's new charging points



Thirty-two new charge points have been installed at intu Victoria Centre as part of the Go Ultra Low project. The charge points, which are Nottingham's largest number in a single pubic location to date, are well signposted within the car park and easy to find.
