To be frank, the EPA is falling apart -- Trump is denying climate science and Senate Republicans are happy to watch the world perish as long as they stay rich.

If we fail to address climate change, the effects will be catastrophic to our farmers and families -- our weather and climate will be forever altered, many of our crops will be unable to grow, fresh water will become more scarce, and new weeds and invasive species will migrate to our state.

We cannot allow that to happen. Iowa is too important to the world economy to risk losing. We need to take action and stop climate change dead in its tracks.

As the next Senator from Iowa, I plan on empowering the EPA instead of hindering it, because I know first hand that destroying our planet will ultimately kill our economy and devastate our farmers.
