Right now (and all year long) [Swing Left groups]([link removed]) across the country are hosting community events to canvass, make calls, fundraise, and support local campaigns.

New letter campaigns are available, so start [writing Vote Forward letters]([link removed]) to encourage turnout in competitive districts across the country.

This is a crucial period to [donate to or raise money for Democrats]([link removed]), so we can hand over funds as soon as primaries are over to help Democratic nominees beat their GOP challengers.

Late spring through summer

Redistricting will conclude and new maps will be finalized for all our target states. More states will hold their primaries, and we'll begin to know who the Democratic nominees are in many of our target races.

Letter writing, door knocking, phone banking, and raising money for Democrats will all continue to be important!

Early fall

Primaries will be over, and we'll know the Democratic nominees in all our target races, up and down the ballot!

October

We'll enter the last phase of the midterms cycle—when every action we take can make the difference between winning or losing a competitive race. 

Knocking on doors and making calls to voters in Swing Districts will continue to be a focus. We need to reach as many voters as possible before Election Day.

On October 29, we'll mail our Vote Forward letters that we've been storing safely so they reach voters at the most strategic moment. (Trust the mail date—Vote Forward has done the research!)

November 4–6: The Last Weekend

We'll pull out all the stops in this final push on the weekend before Election Day. Democracy is on the line—and it'll take all of us, voting and volunteering, to ensure Democrats can continue making progress on voting rights, health care access, economic recovery, climate action, reproductive rights, protections for our LGBTQ+ community, and so much more.

November 8: Election Day

The last day to make your voice heard in the 2022 election. Democrats can win—but it's going to take all of us, working together, to make it happen.
