John —
I’m reaching out today to ask you to support my husband, Mark, so he can hold this Arizona Senate seat. Please, give me a chance to explain why this is so important.
I know just how hard these campaigns can be. It is not easy at all. National Republicans see people like Mark, who are independent and put their constituents first, as a threat. That’s why we’ve always known that outside groups would come out of the woodwork, spending untold amounts of money to try and take back this Senate seat in 2022.
In addition to that outside spending, which is already underway, one of Mark’s opponents has committed to spending $50 million in this race, and another has a $10 million Super PAC backing him up. What’s more, Donald Trump flew to Arizona to hold a rally and said, “Taking America back begins with kicking Mark Kelly the hell out of the United States Senate.”
So it's clear Trump and National Republicans are already ramping up their efforts to beat Mark.
Mark needs our help to fight off these attacks, and the best way to do that is by reaching his 150,000 contribution goal by the time our official FEC fundraising comes to an end and we’re legally required to report our numbers. We can’t afford to fall short. So what do you say, John?

Mark is working so hard for Arizona in the Senate. To hold this seat, he is going up against National Republicans and outside groups that want to stop him. That’s why your support, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated by me, Mark, and all of us.
Thank you so much,
Gabby Giffords
