more than 800 years old, Alaska's Tongass National Forest stores more
carbon than almost any other forest in the world — making it indispensable
in the fight against climate change.

protections in a blatant giveaway to logging companies.

And every day, industrial logging transforms irreplaceable old-growth
forests like the Tongass into stump fields — and in the process, destroys
