In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to chip in to help us hit our end-of-quarter goal... but first, I want to share why the March 31 deadline is so important:

1. This is the first time our fundraising numbers will go public since Governor McKee officially announced his candidacy for re-election last month. We know that folks across the state and the country will use this public filing to judge the strength of our campaign.

2. There are less than six months left until the primary. What we raise now will directly impact how many voters we will be able to reach with our message about the Governor’s accomplishments, priorities, and vision for the future of Rhode Island.

3. We’ve already put together our campaign budget and mapped out what it will take to win. We need to hit our first quarter fundraising goal to be sure that we’re on track for the rest of the campaign.

There are only four days left until our big end-of-quarter deadline, and we still need to raise another $12,500 online before midnight on March 31st. Can you chip in $25, $50, $100, or whatever you’re able before our end-of-quarter deadline at midnight on March 31?

Since Governor McKee announced his campaign for re-election last month, he has racked up impressive endorsements from organized labor, municipal leaders across the state, and the Democratic Governors Association.
