On Tuesday March 1, Texans took to the polls to vote in their party's primary election.

In order to win a party's nomination and continue to the November general election, however, candidates must receive a majority of the vote, or "50% plus one."

While many races such as governor, comptroller, and agriculture commissioner were decided in the first round of voting, Republican voters across the state will have their opportunity on May 24 to cast their votes again to determine who will be on the ballot in November in three statewide races.

As part of our Decision Texas [[link removed]] coverage, Texas Scorecard has invited all the candidates in statewide Republican runoffs to sit down for an interview in the coming weeks. But we need your help.
