How do we safeguard our mental health while making art about mental health? Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival, Wednesday 30 March, 1.00 - 2.00pmThe past few years have seen a huge increase in the number of artistic projects, from theatre and film to comedy, that explicitly address mental health. Often these projects involve the artists sharing their own traumatic experiences. This will be a discussion on how the arts are used to explore mental health while safeguarding the mental health of artists and audiences. Book
The BIG SURE for Mental Health Event - Bring Your Own Mug, Thursday 31 March, 10.00 - 11.00amThis Bring Your Own Mug session is aimed at anyone who would like the opportunity to meet new people and join in with a variety of discussion points from mental health to hobbies. This is also a great opportunity to share information and tips around life in general and also find out what other people have been up over the last two years. You can drop in for 5 minutes or

Andy's Man ClubNational charity Andy’s Man Club to launch its first London club for men’s mental health in Barnet Barnet has been chosen as home to the first Andy’s Man Club in London and the South East, supporting working age men to talk about their mental health. Andy’s Man Club will host its first event on Monday 28 March 7pm at the Meridian Wellbeing Centre in Hendon and is part of a wider suicide prevention campaign led by Barnet

We are an independent support group, run by ex service users, for service users, their carers and supporters.

Nearly all of our directors and staff have lived experience of disability, including mental health issues and/or long-term health conditions. We believe that learning to use our lived experience for social change is a skill. We have become experts in harnessing the lived experience of our staff, members, volunteers and the people who use
our services to design and deliver higher quality, more person-centred services. Other services run by Inclusion Barnet that you might be interested in are: Benefits Advice Service (supporting disabled people in Barnet to access the benefits they are entitled to). Touchpoint (supports people experiencing any form of disability in Barnet to access the services and resources they need). Healthwatch Barnet (an independent, statutory organisation dedicated to improving health and social care services in Barnet).
