We now have just two days left until MPs vote on the DIY abortion amendment (Lords Amendment 92) to the Health and Care Bill.
Thank you to everyone who has already written to their MP. For those who haven't, we now have an easy to use web tool to help you. Just enter your postcode, and an automatic email template is brought up to send to your MP.
If Amendment 92 passes through the Commons on Wednesday afternoon, DIY abortion will be on the statute book. This will mean there will effectively be no restrictions on abortion. Anyone will be able to access abortion pills for any reason, and there will be no measures in place to stop the pills from being taken at any stage in pregnancy, outside of manufacturers’ recommendations and the legal abortion time limit.
Please urgently contact your MP, asking him/her to oppose Amendment 92 and to vote against it.
