John, My story is an American story. It couldn’t have been written anywhere else.
I am the proud daughter of Indian immigrants. They came to America and settled in a small southern town. My father wore a turban. My mother wore a sari. Yes, we were outsiders when I was growing up. But that’s not unusual. People who are different are outsiders everywhere in the world. America is different because our community came to accept us.
Our country gave us the opportunity to strive and succeed.  It gave my dad the opportunity to teach at a college. It gave my mom the opportunity to open a business. And it gave me the opportunity to become governor and then UN ambassador. That’s America.
That’s why I am committed to protecting this uniquely American opportunity. Because I had a chance to live it.
That’s why we must work together to elect freedom-loving conservatives who will defend our values and fight for our freedoms.
When socialism threatens our livelihoods, when an encroaching government imposes harmful burdens on American families, and when a power-hungry Left targets our freedom and our values, we must stand up and fight back.
It will be a costly battle – but a battle that we must win. Republicans need you and me to step up and fight for them. That’s why I am asking you to step up with a donation of $20.22 or more today to fuel our mission.
My parents came to the United States because they knew it would be a place of opportunity for their children. They reminded us every day how blessed we were to live in America. And it was true. America showed my family discrimination and challenges, but it also showed us acceptance and opportunity.
