This election has already brought out some of the ugliest, cruelest behavior by the Republican Party that we’ve ever seen in Texas.

Dehumanizing
attacks
on
trans
kids
*
Ruthless
efforts
to
discard
mail-in
ballots
*
Outlandish
attacks
dreamed
up
by
expensive
consultants.
It’s easy to get burned out. But we want to share with you a vision for how we can win this election, defeat Greg Abbott, and transform Texas in 2022.
First of all, Greg Abbott is starting out this election in the weakest position he’s ever had in a statewide race. His reputation has been deeply damaged by his scandals and failures - from letting our grid fail, to cruel attacks on children, to appointing his donors to positions of power - and Texans are fed up.
Second, Texas Democrats are starting out stronger than they have in generations. In 2020, the state got closer to flipping blue than any time in the last 30 years. Our candidate at the top of the ticket - Beto - is one of the best campaigners anywhere, and will fight to win in every single county.
That means we have an opportunity - NOT a guarantee - that we can win in 2022. Here’s how Boot Texas Republicans will be helping push us closer to flipping Texas this year.
We will endorse up and down the ballot, in races that inspire voters. We’ll be focusing on the visionary leaders who will inspire as many people as possible to get out and vote this year. We’ll volunteer, and raise money, so they can reach voters where they’re at.
We will say what needs to be said. We’ll produce the ads and social media content that make clear how Texas Republicans have failed us.
We will watch for corruption, and attempts to violate the right to vote. Republicans will try ANYTHING to win, because they know they are coming closer and closer to losing their grip on Texas. We need to be vigilant, and watch for their attempts to manipulate the vote.
This election is winnable. It won’t be won by a single ad, or a single news cycle. It can only be won by hard work.
