First, some good news: We recently made our first TV ad buy — seven figures in every major market across Wisconsin. This was a big investment for our campaign, but it was the risk we needed to take if we want to get Sarah’s message in front of as many voters as possible and defeat Ron Johnson.

Now, the bad news: The latest ActBlue fundraising update shows us tracking behind our Q1 projections by about 14%. That may not seem like a whole lot, but it's enough to make a significant difference on our first public FEC report of the year. (As you may know, Republicans will use that report to verify if we have the resources to compete with them on TV.)

Look, we understand these emails can get annoying at times, and the last thing we want is to get on your nerves. But it’s important that you know when we ask for the occasional grassroots donation, we don’t expect everyone to chip in. We only ask because when it does fit your budget, you will.
