Ilhan has been hard at work advancing our progressive movement in Congress: passing the CROWN Act and re-introducing her Homes for All Act to guarantee housing as a human right; bringing in $17 million to Minnesota’s Fifth Congressional District to fund community projects, like affordable housing and healthcare; and speaking out for human rights around the globe.

But the defenders of the status quo see Ilhan’s fights for progress as a threat and will do anything to unseat her. Rightwing donors poured millions of dollars into the primary in 2020 on behalf of her opponents, and the status quo is back for round two now that a new conservative primary opponent is in the race.

We need to report strong numbers next week to ensure we show no signs of weakness in the primary battle ahead, so we’re counting on grassroots supporters like you to chip in toward our $200,000 goal. But right now, we’re falling short of our target.
