Friend – our democracy is in a state of emergency, and I urgently need your help to save it. Let me explain:

Last year alone, GOP lawmakers across the country introduced more than 440 bills with voter suppression provisions. Nowhere is this attack on our rights more extreme than in Georgia: 

Republicans in the Georgia House just pushed through a new anti-voter bill that would deprive local elections offices of crucial resources, make it easier for the GOP to enforce sham ballot reviews and investigations, and undermine our democracy.

Republicans know that they can't win on their ideas, so they're doing all that they can to silence the voters they don't want to hear from. It's immoral, it's anti-democratic, and it's Jim Crow in new clothes. 

With time running out before the upcoming elections, we need to fight back now – before it's too late. The right to make one's voice heard at the ballot box is a cornerstone of our democracy – and all other rights depend on it.

I'm fighting as hard as I can in the Senate to protect our sacred right to vote, but I need folks like you to join me in speaking out immediately.
