Special interests and corporate PACs have been funding a lot of negative attack ads against me the last couple of weeks, but their motives are really transparent.
Corporate interests know that I won't let them exploit our workers, price out our families, and pollute our communities. So they really don't want me to win this race.
My message resonates with voters: in February, polling showed that I led all my opponents by double digits. In the Assembly, I'll back the labor movement, make sure we invest in affordable housing, improve public transportation, and find clean energy solutions to reduce our dependency on oil.
I need to be able to cut through corporate interests' smear campaign to reach potential voters before April 5th.
