‌Look at these headlines written last year -- it seemed like a done deal that Republicans could gerrymander their way into guaranteed power.

APRIL 2021 -- Republicans are poised to gerrymander their way back to the majority
JUNE 2021 -- Republicans can with the next elections through gerrymandering alone
JULY 2021 -- GOP could retake the house in 2022 just by gerrymandering four southern states

Fast forward to this month when the Supreme Court allowed a fair map to stand in North Carolina -- one of the four southern states that could have given the GOP an easy path to the House majority.

Like President Obama said, this movement is part of the reason why the House majority won’t be determined just by the way the maps are drawn. Chip in to support this work.

While our movement did help stop a conservative power grab, the fight isn’t over. Ari Berman’s latest piece on voting rights defined the new Republican strategy as “gerrymander, suppress, subvert.”

The map manipulation will continue -- and so will the egregious voter suppression efforts. We’ll be ready, but we could really use your support.
