Today’s Trumpist Republican Party puts the drive to hold power above everything else, including our democracy. They’re tearing down our democratic institutions and enacting voter suppression laws designed to make it harder for all Americans to vote, and especially people of color. Not to mention the near-daily attacks on reproductive freedom.

What’s worse is that only five seats stand between Kevin McCarthy and the Speaker’s gavel. The GOP already admitted that one of their top targets is CA-49, so if we're going to prevent them from taking over the House, re-electing Mike is critical.

History tells us the coming midterm could be an uphill battle for Democrats, and after redistricting, Mike's district saw a rightward shift. This race is poised to become one of the most competitive contests in the country – that’s why I’m taking his race so seriously, and it’s why I’m asking you today:
