John, my team likes to joke that I’m pretty good at “breaking the ice” on the ranch and on the campaign trail.

It comes from years of breaking ice deposits to make water flow on my ranch so our soil has the right foundation to grow the crops we need.

It comes from my experience bringing a wide coalition of folks together to fix common problems in my community -- talking to everyone no matter our differences.

But here’s the deal: Lauren Boebert has frozen progress on the issues that matter to folks in Colorado’s 3rd District with her divisive rhetoric and outright bigotry. I’m running to defeat her and bring decency and resources back to our district, but I need your help.

Boebert’s “work” in Washington so far just hasn’t been destructive, it’s been downright cold.

She attacked the Equality Act, then didn’t even show up for the vote.
She voted against the Violence Against Women Reauthorization.
She voted against Covid relief and stimulus payments for her constituents.
She fundraised off of guns right after a mass shooting here in Colorado.

Lauren Boebert just doesn’t have the stuff to deliver for rural Colorado. But, that doesn’t mean it’s going to be a cake walk to unseat her. We’ve got an avalanche of money headed our way from Boebert’s fundraising machine -- and we’ve got to hit our goal to counter it.

To defeat Lauren Boebert, we need to build the most sophisticated campaign this country has ever seen. We need to register thousands of new voters, have authentic one-on-one conversations with voters to tell my story, run sophisticated digital advertisements, radio ads, television ads, and more to persuade everyone to join our campaign. But this effort will be expensive. I’m funding this campaign the right way: from small donations given by people reading emails like this one.
