Not only is Ron Hanks a proud January 6th insurrectionist, but he’s an ardent climate change denier.

Climate change is an enormous threat to our way of life in Colorado. In 2020, we had three of the worst fires in our state’s history — destroying homes and livelihoods, and damaging forests, rangeland, and watersheds that sustain our economy.

That’s why Michael fought hard to secure funding to fight climate change, provide resources to recover from and prevent wildfires, and create good-paying jobs.

Colorado’s farmers, tribal communities, land owners, and children need a leader like Michael that takes climate change seriously. But team — Hanks is gaining momentum in the GOP primary and a recent poll showed Michael down 1% against a Republican opponent.
