John,
In a moment, we’re going to ask you for your support to help us reach our end-of-quarter goal on March 31. But first, we’d like to explain what lies in the weeks ahead and why hitting our goal is so important this quarter.
May 17th is Primary Day in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Oregon.
Pennsylvania has been without the kind of representation that prioritizes a commitment to building grassroots political power for the underrepresented and multi-racial working class. That is why we’re backing Summer Lee for Congress, Malcolm Kenyatta for Senate, and a whole slate of progressive State House and State Senate candidates.
In North Carolina, we’ve endorsed Nida Allam and Erica Smith for Congress. If elected, Erica and Nida will fight for Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, raising the minimum wage, and so much more on behalf of North Carolina working families.
Jamie McLeod-Skinner could make history as Oregon’s first openly LGBTQ+ congressional representative. She is challenging one of a handful of corporate House Democrats who threatened to derail the historic investments that were included in the Build Back Better Bill.
And then just one week later, on May 24th, Jessica Cisneros and Jasmine Crockett will face off against well-funded establishment opponents in the Texas runoffs — and we’ll be going all out to elect WFP champions in the Georgia primary taking place the same day.
With less than two months until this next big round of primaries, we’re depending on our grassroots fundraising to help fuel the organizing we’ll need to win these races. Can you contribute $3 or any amount today to our Working Families Majority Fund and help us meet our $210,000 end-of-quarter goal?

If we pool together our resources now to defeat the monied special interest spending in these races, victory is within our reach. Thanks for giving what you can today.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
