Lucy and I are not like most other elected officials in this country. We are survivors of gun violence.

Gun violence changes your life forever—whether it’s surviving a gunshot wound yourself, or losing your child to one.

It’s difficult to keep going, so I know that it must take great courage and guts for Lucy to continue to work to curb gun violence on behalf of all of us inside the halls of Congress.

We need Lucy’s voice in Congress more than ever. We simply can’t let a gun safety champion like Lucy McBath leave Congress without finishing the work she’s started, but the NRA (and the Republicans they pay for) badly want her gone.
