Ohio Republicans are on another level.
• They’ve submitted three sets of gerrymandered state legislative maps – and all three were rejected by the state Supreme Court.
• So now some of them are talking about impeaching the Chief Justice , a member of their own party.
• That’s not to mention their attempt to get the Ohio Supreme Court to accept their fringe legal theory that says state courts don’t have the power to redraw gerrymandered maps.
Not only is their behavior embarrassing, but they could also be trying to run out the clock so that the 2022 elections are held on their own old, manipulated maps.

In Ohio, a Standoff Over Political Maps Threatens the Next Elections
John, these kinds of schemes show exactly why the NDRC and our affiliates have to keep working in states like Ohio, Florida, and Missouri. As A.G. Holder put it, “Republicans are making it quite clear that they will do whatever it takes… to circumvent the will of the people so they can lock in their own power.”
But our movement has stopped them in states across the country, and we can keep stopping them with your help!
Count me in to support the NDRC’s work to end gerrymandering!
