This is a big week. Not only will I be passing my historic bill to decriminalize marijuana through the House, but I’m also up against the first important Federal Election Commission (FEC) Filing deadline of the 2022 election year – and the first since redistricting was finalized.
My opponents continue to lie about my record, and Republicans used Justice Jackson’s confirmation hearings to prove just how much of a disaster letting them run Congress would be.
To defend our democracy, we need to fight back against their attacks and make sure we have the resources to communicate with the tens of thousands of new voters in our district.
After Thursday’s FEC deadline, we’ll have to report our numbers publicly — meaning my disinformation spreading opponents will know exactly what we have in the bank, so it’s crucial we prove our grassroots strength.
