Dear John,
We're down to the final days, and there's limited time left to join our $50,000 3X Match Challenge. We need your help to reach our challenge goal by midnight tomorrow. If everyone reading this gives what they can right now, I know we can achieve this challenge.
Please make a gift that can be tripled in impact now. This match is made possible by Michelle Palomera, a longtime supporter in the fight to end Alzheimer's disease. She has agreed to donate $50,000 in memory of her husband, Ken Sullivan, who lost his life at 52 from complications of younger-onset Alzheimer's.
Michelle is contributing to support Alzheimer's research. Your generous gift can have three times the impact on our efforts to provide care and support to all those whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer's, and to accelerate global research.
But this challenge ends tomorrow at midnight. Please don't miss this incredible opportunity to have your generosity multiplied for 3X the impact — up to $50,000, during this challenge.
Your gift can go three times as far to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
John, we often think about how we'd like our lives to look in the coming years. Of course, most of us want health, security and friends, and we want to enjoy the company of the people we love the most.
It's because we value our lives, our health, and our friends and family so much that we are committed to this fight against Alzheimer's. We don't want to lose out on all that means so much to us.
Every day matters, and so does every dollar. That's why I'm urging you to give as generously as you can before this 3X matching gift opportunity ends tomorrow.
Your gift can go three times as far in the fight to end Alzheimer's. |

By giving now during this 3X match, you'll help to:
- Provide real-time answers and support for people caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or another dementia through our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) and online, with resources like our Alzheimer's Navigator® tool.
- Strengthen our commitment to identifying and addressing barriers that may impede members of diverse communities from receiving Alzheimer's education, care and support and to improving treatment for everyone.
- Advance critical Alzheimer's and dementia research through our current investment in 920 active best-of-field projects in 45 countries so that one day we may realize our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
John, Alzheimer's is a risk we all face. And we all have a role to play in providing care and support and advancing research.
It took more than a year for Ken to get his diagnosis. His symptoms were initially attributed to "stress." But Ken, a lifelong athlete and successful finance executive, knew there was more to it.
"It finally took an exploding pot on the stove, and my urging to conduct a spinal tap and other tests, to get the diagnosis," Michelle said. "Once diagnosed, we were able to develop a plan, and the initial medications helped to manage his day-to-day symptoms," Michelle said.
The Alzheimer's Association became a safe haven for Michelle and her family during this journey. "They provided resources, guidance and support groups for him, as well as for me as a caregiver" she said.
If you can give $16 today, you can provide help and hope to people living with Alzheimer's, as well as their caregivers, loved ones and friends.
Please join us to fight this devastating disease, and to one day, save families from the pain and loss of Alzheimer's. Make a gift that can be tripled in impact now.
Thank you for your support,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
P.S. It's your last chance to make a gift that can be tripled in impact because this $50,000 3X Match Challenge ends at midnight tomorrow. Time is running out, and we're counting on you to do all you can to help. Please make your gift to fight Alzheimer's now.
