I ran for president on a simple promise: To restore the soul of America and to rebuild the backbone of the nation -- the middle class. And since day one, Kamala and I have worked to do just that.

Together, we’ve gotten this country back on track -- passing the American Rescue Plan and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and setting up a historic vaccination program. But to continue building the economy from the bottom up and the middle out, I’ll need an even stronger Democratic House majority by my side.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is running programs nationwide to elect more Democrats to the House, and they’re coming up on a critical fundraising deadline on Thursday. You know that I hate to ask, but will you donate $5 to the DCCC before its end-of-quarter deadline?

Just five seats stand between us and a Republican-controlled House -- and Kamala and I will have a much better shot at making progress on the pressing issues our country is facing with a Democratic House majority supporting our efforts.

It’ll take all of us working together to protect and expand our majorities. With the midterm elections right around the corner, we can’t afford to let up for a single second.

So, if you can, pitch in $5 to the DCCC before Thursday’s end-of-quarter deadline to help defend our Democratic House majority.
