With your monthly donation of $5, $10, or $27, YOU can power our ground game and mobilize millions of progressive voters to put more allies in office. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TAKING ON MARJORIE TAYLOR-GREENE Our Revolution Georgia members took a courageous stand this week against the unconstitutional candidacy of insurrectionist Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (GA-14). “Free Speech For People, a legal advocacy organization, and Our Revolution filed the challenge against Greene,” CNN reported. Our challenge could “compel her to testify under oath about her actions in leading up to the riot,” according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. In one video, Greene explicitly said she opposed the transfer of power from Trump to Biden, claiming Biden “did not win this election” and is “guilty of treason.” “I believe in democracy. When I served in the Army, I had to take an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic,” said Our Revolution member Michael Rasbury, one of the voters bringing the challenge. “Everything I’ve read says Rep. Greene was involved in the Jan. 6th insurrection that was trying to override everything I believe in – Our Constitution, how we run elections, and how our government is set up. She should not be on the ballot.” Our Revolution North Carolina members were the first to file a historic legal challenge against Madison Cawthorn under the 14th Amendment. We’re also taking on Jim Jordan in Ohio, Scott Perry in Pennsylvania, and of course, Trump, who has utterly disqualified himself from a White House run in 2024. Help fund our legal challenges against enemies of democracy with a recurring donation today. We must uphold the Constitution and bar insurrectionists from the ballot. ★ ★ ★ PISSING OFF LINDSEY GRAHAM! This week, Sen. Lindsey Graham railed against Our Revolution executive director Joseph Geevarghese during the Senate SCOTUS confirmation hearing of Ketanji Brown-Jackson for helping thwart a push by him - and Rep. Jim Clyburn - for anti-union jurist Michele Childs to fill the seat. Luckily for America, Biden listened to our concerns, and Judge Jackson is on her way to the high court! Joseph also gave Graham a quick phonetics lesson on how to say his name on Twitter since he may as well get it right if he’s going to rant. From the Supreme Court to Congress, Our Revolution is standing up to corporate Dems and their GOP enablers. Become a MEMBER to help us keep fighting and beating the establishment in both parties! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BOOTS ON THE GROUND IN 2022 PRIMARIES Our Revolution is different — instead of funneling money into expensive ads, we’re focusing on a powerful ground game. And, it’s working. Our candidates came out swinging in the first primaries in Texas, delivering a blow to the corporate establishment and setting the stage for more victories to come. In the Texas primaries, we were able to incorporate skills learned from the past two years of virtual campaigning under the pandemic to enhance our return to in-person operations, Our Revolution Political Director Aaron Chappell told Roll Call. Our Revolution held virtual phone banks and rallies with volunteers powering Jessica Cisneros into a May primary runoff against corporate Dem Henry Cuellar. “Online, remote work allowed activists from around the country to be engaged, and that’s important,” Aaron said, adding volunteers are “excited to be back in the streets.” And with our members voting for new endorsements for reinforcements in Congress - including Nina Turner (OH), Attica Scott (KY), and Melanie D’Arrigo (NY) - we have more work to do! Big corporate interests want us to give up, but this year we’re going the extra mile to keep growing our share of power at all levels of government. We need your help to keep growing our grassroots army of volunteers and galvanize more than 8 million progressive voters to the polls in the midterms. Become a sustaining member to put boots on the ground and allies into office. JOIN OUR MOVEMENT TODAY! ★ ★ ★ WE’RE GETTING JUMAANE ON THE BALLOT! Our Revolution-NY Progressive Action Network has been hitting the streets in a broad canvassing push to get Jumaane Williams on the ballot for NY Governor. Jumaane has a long relationship with Our Revolution-NYPAN as an activist and organizer, and he supports the NY Health Act, extending the eviction moratorium, taxing the wealthy, and making CUNY tuition-free. His running mate Ana María Archila will be with us to talk about her run for Lt. Governor on our National Organizing Call on Monday! ★ ★ ★ CISNEROS V. CORPORATIST CUELLAR With hundreds of thousands of voter contacts in Texas’ 28th, Our Revolution volunteers powered Jessica Cisneros into a run-off match-up against corrupt US Rep. Henry Cuellar. Now, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is throwing her support behind Cuellar — Big Oil's favorite Democrat and the only House Dem to vote against the PRO Act. “I always support my incumbents on the left and right,” she was quoted in the Texas Tribune. Cuellar is under FBI investigation, but Speaker Pelosi brushed it aside. “I don’t know what it is,” she said when asked about it by a reporter. “I haven’t seen anything, have you? Do you know what it’s about?” Why would Speaker Pelosi support Henry Cuellar over Jessica Cisneros — a young Latina woman who has proven herself as a fighter for the people in Texas? Nancy should revoke her endorsement of Cuellar now. With 70-degree temperature spikes in Antarctica and oil execs enriching themselves by price-gouging struggling Americans — it’s time to form a united front against Big Oil and their puppets in Congress, Our Revolution Executive Director Joseph Geevarghese said Thursday. ★ ★ ★ Join thousands of Our Revolution volunteers to help elect allies into office and replace politicians who are paid to obstruct progress. Our Revolution South Carolina hosted an Environmental Forum with State Senator Mia McLeod who’s running for Governor. Moderated by Pamela Greenlaw, who serves as Chair of the South Carolina Sierra Club’s Midlands Group, McLeod explored a wide range of environmental issues and how they impact Palmetto State residents. Serious problems, McLeod said, include the lack of access to clean water in many rural communities. Such regions, like Denmark County, “are always marginalized when it comes to the environment, when it comes to racial, social, and economic justice, and when it comes to education.” Senator McLeod decried the failure of Republican Gov. Henry McMaster to request American Rescue Plan Act funding and make it available to small cities and towns until she, herself, publicly exposed his negligence and forced him to act. WATCH HERE ★ ★ ★ NY CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM TOWN HALL Our Revolution partnered with allies in New York to present a town hall Thursday titled Realities of Criminal Justice Reform: False Narrative vs. Truth.
