The worst part about running for president is the absurd amount of money it takes to run a successful campaign.

The truth is that some candidates in this race are relying on the support of a super PAC. Many others travel around the country holding private fundraising events to spend time with wealthy donors.

Not us. That will never be us.

The ONLY way that we will raise what is needed to win this election is from millions of people making small donations. We are off to an incredible start – but we still have a long way to go.

Tonight is the fifth Democratic presidential debate, which means this is a big day for our campaign. It is during important moments like this that we can rely on lots of supporters across the country to make donations. Can I count on you to make a contribution today?
