We’ve got some exciting news, John. After a brief hiatus, the WFP Monthly Assembly is back!
This Sunday, March 27 at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT, you’re invited to join us for the Working Families Party Assembly, our monthly virtual gathering where we recommit ourselves to each other and the movement.
March was a big month for us, John. From sharing our vision for the nation with Rep. Rashida Tlaib in our State of the Union response to incredible primary results in Texas — including Greg Casar’s win in TX-35 — it’s clear that progressive momentum is growing. But the work isn’t over yet. WFP supporters, members, and activists are working hard from coast to coast to elect even more inspiring progressive candidates to federal, state, and local office in this year’s midterm elections.
So on this month’s Assembly, we’ll be hearing from some of those candidates including Delia Ramirez, whose campaign in the newly-redrawn IL-03 could make her the first Latina congresswoman in the Midwest, and Michelle Vallejo, one of the WFP champions in Texas advancing to a run-off that’s just around the corner.
Are you ready to hear from these amazing leaders about what’s next for our movement? RSVP now to join the WFP Assembly this Sunday, March 27 at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT.

We’ve got an opportunity for a big win in Illinois with Delia Ramirez, the Assistant Majority Leader of the Illinois House of Representatives, who has passed life-changing legislation for the people in her community — including expanding affordable housing, protecting women’s health, providing COVID-19 relief, and winning senior citizens access to Medicaid coverage regardless of immigration status. With redistricting making IL-03 a wide-open seat, Delia has a real chance of winning this race.
And with less than two weeks until the first ballots are mailed out, we want to highlight Michelle Vallejo — one of the three WFP candidates moving to a primary runoff in Texas. As a small business owner, community leader, and advocate for women’s economic empowerment, Michelle has the experience needed to make real change in Washington.
The WFP March Assembly is taking place this Sunday, March 27 at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT, and you can join from anywhere with an internet connection. Will you RSVP for the WFP Assembly now? Click here, and we’ll send you the link to join.
