This is important, john — access to abortion is in serious danger.
In the coming months, the Supreme Court is expected to rule on a Mississippi law that outlaws abortion after 15 weeks — and is a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade. If overturned, this could wipe out access to reproductive health care in states with Republican-led legislatures across the country.
This attempted rollback of constitutional rights is a deeply disturbing and dangerous attack on reproductive health and economic freedom.
Several months ago, I filed a legal brief to the Supreme Court explaining why Mississippi’s law is unconstitutional, harmful, and inequitable. I wanted to make sure that Nevadans who are deeply opposed to these extreme efforts to restrict abortion access could have their voices heard at the Supreme Court.
No matter how the Court rules in this case, I will never stop fighting to defend access to reproductive health care. If you’re with me, add your name and recommit to our fight to protect reproductive freedom:
I’m proud to be endorsed by Planned Parenthood and NARAL, and as Nevada’s Attorney General, I will always defend every person’s right to make their own health care decisions. And I will use every legal tool available to ensure that anyone, no matter where they live, can exercise their right to reproductive freedom.
Thanks for standing with me in this fight,
Aaron
