Yvette knows first-hand the importance of providing enriching experiences for the children in her neighborhood, so she worked hard to secure $3 million to create a Girls Club Community Center right here in Brooklyn!
The young people in our community have been through a lot these past few years – from remote learning to socially distancing from friends and loved ones. This new Girls Club will provide numerous education, arts, wellness, professional development, and recreation opportunities for the growing girls in our neighborhood. We can't wait to see bright, smiling faces at the new community center!
