Next week we're facing our first FEC end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of the election year. Let me take a moment to explain why this deadline is critical to the success of our campaign.

At midnight on March 31st, we'll be closing the books on the first quarter of the year, and our fundraising numbers will be made public soon after. With our race shaping up to be one of the most competitive in the country, our opponents and National Republicans will comb through our report looking for any signs of weakness.

Thanks to members of this grassroots team stepping up, particularly our monthly donors, our campaign is off to a great start. But we need to reach our fundraising goal before the deadline to show how strong our grassroots campaign is and respond to the attacks that are coming our way. I can't get there without your support.

Reaching our goal isn't just about showing the strength of our team; it's about ensuring we have the resources to keep this seat blue. While we still don't know what our district will look like after redistricting, we know that we need to be prepared to reach voters in every corner of the district.
