I wanted to follow up and give an update TO THE UPDATE! Team Nika at Large ([link removed]) is beginning to build some momentum with 4 donations just yesterday! Thank you!!

This puts us over 50 total donations for our March Madness Grassroots Fundraising Drive since launching this last week. I cannot wait until we can meet our next milestone goal of 100 grassroots donations before the end of the month.

Dear Team Nika Supporters,

First - if we have not met, I’m Dan and proudly a part of Fundraising Team Nika. I truly believe that our collective progressive movement is best activated when we connect our passions into action and positive change. That could mean blasting great music before going to knock on doors, it could mean phone bank potlucks where everyone brings their favorite dish to enjoy while connecting with voters together, but today we’ve got our March Madness Fundraising Update!

So far, since we launched our March Madness Fundraising last week, we have received 42 donations totaling $9,134. Here is a breakdown of our top 3 neighborhoods by # of donations:

Now, JP has taken an early lead! But this is still anybody’s game! Personally, I love to make donations of $11 because it’s “equality sideways” but that’s just me. Maybe you want to donate $11 three, four, or five times between today and the end of the month because this competition is about number of donations.
