During the State of the State, I announced a proposal to provide two years of free community college to students impacted by the pandemic. If you are a member of the high school classes of 2020-2023, and you enroll full time in a Maine community college this fall or next, the State of Maine will cover every last dollar of your tuition under my plan. There are so many good-paying jobs in health care, engineering, the trades, construction, clean energy technology and other industries – all just waiting for you.
