Thermometer to $25,000

After map manipulators in North Carolina passed another gerrymandered congressional map, AG Holder doubled down on our mission to end gerrymandering:

"Citizens have a right to a fair map and we will not stop fighting until the people have an opportunity to elect a delegation that represents their will."

Republicans manipulated the 2011 redistricting process to secure more seats and more power over the past decade. And now they are using their stolen state legislative majorities to gerrymander the maps once again.

We cannot let this happen. When politicians gerrymander maps, we need to be prepared to activate a response. We set a mid-month goal of $25,000 -- we need to raise $18,432 in the next 48 hours. Will you chip in?

The congressional map redraw in North Carolina was a look at the fight we'll face across the country -- map manipulators recreating partisan gerrymanders and limiting public input. The 2021 redistricting process is going to be a fight on dozens of fronts as every state in the nation draws maps that will be used for the next decade.

We're focusing our efforts on states where we know our organizing power can make an impact. But we'll only be successful if our grassroots donors respond to our fundraising goals and deadlines -- commit to a monthly donation now until all the maps are drawn.
